She is survived by: her children, Donald Mockbee (Connie) of Moores Hill, Kenneth Mockbee (Kim) of Moores Hill, Timothy Canfield (Janice) of Moores Hill, Cynthia Ison of Milan, Debora Peters (Bill) of Milan and Darlene Cox (Joe) of Moores Hill; her sister Thelma Palmer of Rising Sun; and her close friend Ernest Woods of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home (12887 Lenover St, Dillsboro, IN 47018). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in honor of Doris to the Milan Volunteer Fire Department or Moores Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
