She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Swen and Aline Louise Bergquist (Vialle); and her sister Nadine Hammond. She is survived by: her husband Michael James Whalen; and her son Joseph T. Whalen of Osage City.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (309 S 6th St, Osage City, KS 66523). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery North Hwy.
