She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Chambless and Beatrice Chambless; her husband Charles Carter; her son Timothy Carter; her grandsons, Brandon and Robert Carter; and her brothers, Kenneth Don Chambless and Ellis Chambless.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawnda Stoker (Ronnie Cox), Rebecca Carter and Jenny Carter (Mark); her grandchildren, Tiffany Whaley (Josh), Phillip Stoker (Katie), Tyler Byrd (Bailey), Savannah Carter (Michael), Zachary Carter, Maggie Carter, Abigail Carter (Johnny), Christopher Alversen and Logan Carter; and her sister Marilyn Dunn (Richard). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services- Middletown (118 S 5th St, Middletown, IN 47356). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
