We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2020, at the age of 76, Melva Ruth Tegge of Middletown, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Minola Sylvester and Chick Sylvester. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Pursley (Randy), Jill Harman (Todd) and Jennifer Whitmoyer (Sean); her grandchildren, Sydnee Kirby, Chole Harman, Sharaden Kirby and Ryder Pursley; her siblings, Judy Carter (late George), Sarah Madren (Bill), Nora Shaffer (Chuck) and Melvin Sylvester (BJ); and her friends, Cathy Dunn and Judy Biehl.

Contributions may be made in her name to the Animal Protection League or St. Jude Children's hospital for Cancer research.
