It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Ashton of Middletown, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Bittner and Gladys Bittner (Hinshaw); her husband Charles; and her siblings, Erma Sutherland, Gene Bittner, Vernice Thompkins, Dickey Bittner and Don Bittner.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Gloria Lee Selvidge (Forrest) of New Castle; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Scott (Evan Edwards), Justin Scott (Mandy) and Bradley Fleischmann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
