She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Harp and Ora S. Harp (Johnson); and her brother Gary Harp. She is survived by: her husband David Lee Hamel; her children, David Lee Hamel, Jr. (Laura), Jason Hamel (Jami) and Kimberly Trennepohl (Joshawa); and her sisters, Lawanda Auker, Vermila Krieg, Alamaria Vaughn and Nancy Thomas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
