With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lauretta Jeanne Hays of Middletown, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hammer and Leoma Hammer (Parker); her husband Allen Hays; her brother Lawrence; her sister-in-law Louise Hammer; her sisters, Joyce Lockridge and Norma Finefeuiaki; and her nephew Lance Hammer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Schmidt (Jeff) of Ft. Wayne, Jacqueline Bousman (Ty) of Noblesville, Michael Hays (Jama) of Anderson and Michelle Matthias (Scott) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Abigail Shores (Jacob), Justin Scott (Mackenzie McLane), Alexandra Hays, Morgan Brinson (Kyle), Emily Clemens (Kyle), Joshua Bousman (Andrea), Natalie Kennedy (Dustin), Ian Hays, Drake Schmidt (Mikala) and Kyle Matthias; her siblings, Lynda Gable and Chuck Hammer (Judy); and her close friends, Dick, Sharon Rawson, Scott and Michelle Nickels. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
