He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Edward Clark and Edna Rae Clark (Birchfield); his parents-in-law, Don and Ginny Hanson; and his sister-in-law Dona Burkhardt.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Clark (Hanson) of Middletown; his daughters, Michelle R. Shannon (Jay) and Savanna Keller; his grandchildren, Tyler Shannon and Erin Shannon; and his brother Paul E. Clark (Jo). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and beloved in-laws.
