It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Reneau Short of Middletown, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abb Short and Dora Short (Boles); and his son James E. Short. He is survived by: his wife Lorrena Short (Stohler) of Middletown; his children, Jacqueline Boils (Wade) of New Castle and Johnny Short of Summitville; his grandchildren, Crystal Boils of New Castle, Wade Boils Jr. (Jamie) of New Castle, Johnny Short of Summitville and Joshua Short (Summer) of Summitville; and his brothers, Marvin Short (Joyce) and Shelby Short (Mildred). He is also survived by great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
