It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George E. Kirkpatrick of Middletown, Indiana, born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orman Kirkpatrick and Ida Kirkpatrick (Addison); his children, Nancy Lea Kirkpatrick, Rebecca Jane Kirkpatrick and David E. Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Pete Kirkpatrick, Dorothy Brown and Margaret Jane Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Kirkpatrick (Begin); his son Joseph Kirkpatrick (Kristina); his grandsons, James O. Kirkpatrick (Lea) and Bradley M. Kirkpatrick (Ashley); and his close friends, Mark and Ruth Graves. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks and practice social distancing at visitation and services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
