He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Brooks and Mary Brooks (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Janice Brooks (Newby); his daughter Michelle Baney (John); his granddaughter Elizabeth Goodwin (Jeremy); his great grandchild Piper Brooke Goodwin; his brother Robert Brooks (Marlene); his stepsister Bonnie Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Todd, Brian Brooks (Jill), Steven Brooks (Meredith) and Amanda Brown.
