The memory of Dennis Ray Shock of Middletown, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Dennis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dennis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale and Irma Jean Shock (Arnett). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Shock (Jones); and his siblings, Fred Shock, Jim Shock, Vanessa Terry and Diana Gerber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crown Hill National Cemetery (725 W 42nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Eastview Church of the Nazarene (2552 E 200 S, Anderson, IN 46017).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses.
