We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Vernon D. Bontrager of Middlebury, Indiana, born in Shipshewana, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bontrager and Lydia Bontrager (Miller); his wife Nettie M. Schrock; his son Glendon Bontrager; and his siblings, Anna Schrock, Wilma Miller, Ida Miller, Clarence Bontrager and Levi Bontrager.
He is survived by: his daughters, Eileen Miller (Alvin) of Goshen, Ruby Beachy (Richard) of Texas, Phyllis Ramer of Florida and Arloa Bontrager (Rohrer Bomberger) of Goshen; his daughter-in-law Patty Bontrager of Arkansas; his sons, Leonard Bontrager of Rochester, Clifford Bontrager of Arkansas and Myron Bontrager (Dana) of Goshen; and his sisters, Alma Miller (Ammon) of Topeka and Fannie Lambright (Crist) of Topeka. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several step-grandchildren.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no services or viewing.
Memorials may be given to Gospel Echoes or Galilean Children's.
