Shirley LaVonne Shoup Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley LaVonne Shoup of Middlebury, Indiana, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merl Yoder and Marie Yoder (Staley); her husband Donald Wayne Shoup; her grandchildren, Will Shoup, Andrew Shoup and Katherine Shoup; her daughter-in-law Judy Shoup; her granddaughter-in-law Jenn Shoup; and her sister Virginia Hunsberger.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Shoup (Sally) of Syracuse, Mike Shoup of Hay Market, VA and Bruce Shoup (Beth Anne) of Zionsville; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Jennifer, Tyler, Austin and Kort. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home (1003 S Main St, Middlebury, IN 46540). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Grace Lawn Cemetery (700 E Warren St, Middlebury, IN 46540).
Memorials may be given to Faith United Methodist Church.
