He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mads Nielsen and Lucile Nielsen (Beique); his spouse Sandra "Sandi" Leming; his children, Stephen Nielsen (Linda) of Middlebury, Randall Nielsen (Dietra) of Middlebury, Allen Nielsen (Chris) of Colorado Springs, CO and Kimberly Yoder (Greg) of Middlebury; his brothers, Paul Nielsen (Penny) of Middlebury and Michael Nielsen; his son Scott Paul Nielsen; and his sister Mary Ann VanderReyden. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
