He was predeceased by: his father Richard Massa; his sister Mary Ann Massa; and his cousin C. J. Underwood. He is survived by: his mother Clarsey Massa (Underwood) of Middlebury; his children, Dava Rudolph of Goshen, Joshua Massa of Elkhart and Maisie Thompson of Dunlap; and his siblings, Diana Massa (Anthony Berkey) of Goshen and Joseph Underwood (Melissa) of South Carolina.
