He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Brooks and Betty Ann Brooks (West). He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Jared Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Jordan Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Blake Brooks (Sierra Dodd) of Marcellus, MI and Jessica Brooks (George Stops) of Lilburn, GA; his stepdaughter Terra Lintz (Evert Valencourt) of Constantine, MI; and his brothers, Jerry Brooks of Middlebury and Mike Brooks (Trish) of Middlebury. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
