He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wisowaty and Clara Wisowaty (Kusnierek); and his brother Richard Wisowaty. He is survived by: his children, Laura Ann Heist (John) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Lawrence "Larry" Wisowaty (Jack Krol) of Palos Park, IL; his granddaughters, Taylor Currie (Wilbur) and Madison Heist; his great grandchild Bauer Currie; and his friend Ida Kruis of Middlebury.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to the American Legion Post 210, Middlebury.
