He was predeceased by: his parents, Manasses Hochstetler and Amelia Hochstetler (Borkholder); his granddaughter Nicole Hochstetler; his brothers, Clarence, Tobias and Ura Hochstetler; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Kauffman and Andy Gingrich.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Miller; his children, Devon Hochstetler (Wilma) of Middlebury, Lyle Hochstetler (Karen) of Nappanee, Lynn Hochstetler of Middlebury, Norma Helmuth (Keith) of Middlebury, Velma Hochstetler (David) of Millersburg and Waneta Miller (Richard) of Topeka; his siblings, Ezra Hochstetler (Patricia) of Goshen, Wilbur Hochstetler (Sue) of Charlotte, MI and Judith Kauffman of Middlebury; and his sisters-in-law, Miriam Hochstetler of Nappanee and Ada Hochstetler of Holland, MI.. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
