He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Kauffman and Katie Kauffman (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Iva Jean Bontrager; his children, Jody Stubblefield of Elkhart, Jeff Kauffman (Glenda) of Centennial, CO, Jil Miller (Devon) of Middlebury and Jay Kauffman (Jeffrey) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Rich Holdeman, Kailyn Hochstetler (Jamie), Lucas Miller, Brennen Kauffman and Nathan Kauffman; and his siblings, Robert Kauffman (Darlene) of Canby, OR, Ike Kauffman (Vada) of Lebanon, OR, DeRoy Kauffman of Middlebury and Carol Outman of Sturgis, MI.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to First Mennonite Church, Habitat for Humanity or Mennonite Disaster Service.
