He is survived by: his wife Susan Cook; his children, Doyle Jr. Hayes (Cindy), John Hayes (Stormie), Mark Hayes, Michelle Gilson (Dave) and Tabitha Tyler (Randy); his niece Connie Sue Brokaw (Mike); and his siblings, Bruce Hayes (late Margaret) and Mary Sawter (late Mariam). He is also survived by six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
