Diane R. Smith Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane R. Smith of Middlebury, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Diane has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale McClure and Lois McClure; and her husband Harold Frederick "Fred" Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Yoder of Bristol; her grandsons, Tony Fisher and Tyler Fisher (Lauren); her great grandchild Liam Fisher; and her sister Cindy McClure (Bryan Wagner).

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Bristol Community Church (201 S Division St, Bristol, IN 46507). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
