He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine Slabach; his children, Edna Mae Miller of Shipshewana, Betty Irene Shrock of Goshen, LaVerne Jay Schmucker (Carolyn) of Middlebury, Gerald Eugene Schmucker (Bonnie) of Elmwood, TN, David Ray Schmucker (Rachel) of Elkhart and Mervin Schmucker of Shipshewana; and his sisters, Susanna Miller of LaGrange, Katie Wright of Bristol and Martha Hochstedler (Walter) of Middlebury. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
