It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Byers of Middlebury, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Katherine Byers (Miller) and Harry Katherine; his sister Mary Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Butch Zavatsky; and his great grandchild Bryce Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Richards; his children, Carla Lamberson (Nils) and Mark Peterson (Sue); his grandsons, Matthew Peterson and Bobby Dixon; his great grandchildren, Nick, Cuda, Samantha, Victoria and Joshua; his great great grandchildren, Raven and Abby; his brother Larry Byers (Barb); and his nephew Greg Zavatsky (Renee). He is also survived by many other friends and family members.
