He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Bontrager and Anna Bontrager (Yoder); and his siblings, Homer, Harley, Levi Bontrager, Fannie Miller, Lovina Whetstone and Wilma Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Miller; his children, Arlin Bontrager (Lynetta) of Goshen, Allen Bontrager (Brenda) of Tippecanoe, Nancy Schlabach (Lamar) of Middlebury, Naomi Bontrager of Middlebury and Norma Schlabach (Jerry) of Middlebury; and his sisters, Edna Farmwald of Shipshewana and Elizabeth Hochstetler of Shipshewana. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
