He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Glenn Rule and Joyce Rule (Jaynes); his niece Tara Sprinkle; and his in-laws, Martin and Reva Higer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Higer; his children, Joe Rule (Jannine) of Michigantown and Carrie Barnett (J. B.) of Frankfort; his grandsons, Brock Rule, Kaleb Rule (Kasey) of Michigantown, Kyle and Kody Pickard of Frankfort; his great grandchild Ava Rule; his stepgrandchildren, Kelli McElfresh (Sonny) of Kokomo and Cory Barnett (Taylor) of Noblesville; his stepgreat-granddaughter Finley McElfresh; his brother Jan Rule (Jessica); and his niece Erin Miller (LaMar) of Kansas City, MO..
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
