He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Joseph and June Della Richards (Cox); and his brothers, Maurice, Doyal, William, James and Joseph Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Benge; his sons, John Richards (Julia) of Carmel, IN, Paul Richards (Debbie) of Haslett, MI, Mark Richards (Melanie) of Charlotte, MI and Stephen Richards (Maryanne) of Carmel, IN.; his grandchildren, Mary (Scott), Seth, Austin (Ashlee), Alyssa (Justin), Spencer and Clay; and his great grandchildren, Georgia, James and Bexley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to Country Chapel Church, Williamston Free Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
