He was predeceased by: his parents, William Melburn "Ebb" and Willie Kate Welch (King); his wife Mary Ruth Marcum; and his brothers, Morris Welch, Glenn Welch and Max Hobart Welch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gaye Summitt (Gary) of Delphi, IN and Kathy Martin (David); his siblings, Freda Yeary of Brookville, OH, Billy King Welch Sr. (Wanda) of Jonesville, VA and Fayne Welch (Marcie) of Jonesville, VA; his grandchildren, Kelli Lucas (Robert) of Delphi, IN, Kara Haynes (Jon Chaney) of Delphi, IN, Kiel Martin (Krystal) of Pendleton, IN and Kristen Ramseier (Ben) of College Station, TX; his great grandchildren, Robert, Olivia, Trenton, Tanner, Jacob, Alexander, Drake and Madison; and his great great grandchildren, Graham, Waylon and Miley.
