She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Rice and Nora Ann Rice (Bumbalough); her husband Joe Ada; and her children, Linda Morton (Vince) and Kenneth Ada (Donnajean). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Root Funeral Home (312 E 7th St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
