She was predeceased by: her father Carl K. McCoy; and her stepfathers, Clifford LaFollette and Raymond H. Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey G. Hazel; her sons, Timothy Hazel (Heather) and Michael Hazel (Jill); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacob, Charley, Dax and Dylan; and her siblings, Linda Swope, Carl Edward McCoy (Sue) and David McCoy (Lori). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
