He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Kruis. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann Kruis (Burdett); his children, Ryan Pinto (Ashley), Dylan Pinto, Connor Pinto, Liam Kruis, Shea Kruis and Delaney Kruis; his mother Eleanor Rosalind Kruis (Coyle); his grandchildren, Beckham Pinto and Banks Pinto; and his siblings, Brian Kruis (Heather), Sean Kruis (Beth) and Anne Penney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (1010 Moore Rd, Michigan City, IN 46360). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
