She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Zonyk and Ruth Zonyk (Smith); her siblings, Jay and Jan Zonyk; and her parents-in-law, Leon and Jessie Garbacik.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Garbacik (Laura) of Culver, IN, Darla Schultz (William) of LaPorte, IN and Darcy Nespo (David) of LaPorte, IN.; her grandchildren, Drake, Dayne Garbacik, Kristen Reed, Jenna Austin, Braylyn, Brock Schultz, Drayson, Justyn and Alicia Nespo; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Vinny Reed, Graham and Jack Austin; her close friend Corrine Orzech; her sister-in-law Jeane Church; and her cousin Faith Weaver.
