She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roger Jeffers Sr. and Dolores Jeffers (Rochon); her spouse Dietmar Knappe; her children, Starlyn Knappe of Michigan City, IN and Joshua Knappe (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN.; her siblings, Gail Frain (Gerald Barney) of Chesterton, Diane Killingbeck (Donald) of Anderson, SC. and Clyde Newsome (Abigail) of Omaha, NE.; and her grandchildren, Zachary Knappe, Dietmar Jensen, Isaiah Knappe and Emma Knappe.
