He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Dombkowski and Jean Buchanan; and his siblings, Mary Dombkowski, Dennis, Leonard, Michael, Phillip, Stanley and James Dombkowski.

He is survived by: his children, Najla Jefferies (Gary) of Westfield, IN, Jason Dombkowski (Cristie) of West Lafayette, IN and Ronald Dombkowski (Crystal) of West Lafayette, IN; his stepchildren, Melissa Kunow of Michigan City, IN, Matthew Kunow (Mindy) of Michigan City, IN and Jason Kunow (Jill) of Michigan City, IN; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Dax, Samera, Blake, Brennan, Roberta and Jayda; his great grandchildren, Robert and Dakota; and his siblings, Richard Dombkowski (Carolyn) of South Bend, IN and Alice Knoll (David) of La Porte, IN.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel (418 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
