He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bensz and Helen Bensz (Barlow); his sisters, Jean Wolfe (Bud) of New Port Richey, FL and Lorraine Chambly (John) of Fort Myers, FL.; and his significant other Jean Bensz (DeVaux).
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Emery (Steve) of Gallatin, TN, Barry Bensz (Joan) of La Porte, IN and Rod Bensz (Amy) of Michigan City, IN; his grandchildren, Jaime Cipares (Chris), Jenna Hunter (Rodd), Jordan Simpkins (Elizabeth), Jacob Bensz (Denise), Tyler Bensz and Ella Bensz; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Cipares, Austin Cipares, Grace Cipares, Everett Hunter, Elenore Hunter, Turner Hunter, Anna Bensz and William Ronald Bensz.
