He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Leona Rumsey (Miller); his mother Bessie Rumsey (Fravey); and his brother William Rumsey Jr.. He is survived by: his father William Rumsey; his children, Meredith Rumsey of Michigan City and David Rumsey (Lisa) of Minooka, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ryan (Sean Ryan) of Columbus, Laura Nickell (Brian Johnson) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Erin Rumsey and Patrick Rumsey; and his great grandchildren, Jay Johnson, Jesse Johnson and Finn Johnson.
