He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kopczyk and Lucille Kopczyk Sr. (Jozwiak); his nephew Travis Michael O'Brien; and his pets, Ralph and Norton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen O'Brien of Michigan City, IN, Christina Rooze (Jack) of New Jersey and Michael Kopczyk (Diana) of La Porte, IN; his pet Carol; and his niece Tara Jean O'Brien. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
