He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haas and Anna Haas (Malloy); and his siblings, Kathryn Schramm, William Haas, Jr., Thomas Haas and Patrick Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mae Haas (White); his children, Kurt Haas of Michigan City, IN, David Haas (Angelique "Angie") of Michigan City, IN and Michelle Haas-Milligan of Michigan City, IN; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Haas Milligan; and his siblings, Marie Bauchrowitz (Horst), Lucille Kizer (James), James Haas, Joseph Haas (Barbara) and Robert Haas.
