He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Sims of Westville; his grandchildren, Amanda and Kevin Hughes; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Hughes, Zaedyn and Zoey Floyd; and his brother John Sims (Karen) of Colfax, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
