She is survived by: her children, James T. Turner of Honolulu, Hawaii, Donna Turner of Michigan City, Indiana, Charles Turner (Ada) of Portage, Indiana, Anthony Turner (Tessa) and Opal; her siblings, Mary "Hattie" Cotton of Michigan City, Indiana, Marilyn Poindexter (Henry) of Augusta, Arkansas, Paul Simmons (Chris) of Detroit, Michigan, Kin Simmons Xuxa (Dale) of Orlando, Florida and Jacqueline Poole of Augusta, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Celena Spears, Opal "Michelle" Spears, Anthony "Michael" Turner of Charles, Turner Jr., Karen Lewis, Aimee Faust and Logan Turner. She is also survived by many great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
