He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brinkman and Lillian Brinkman (Palmateer); his daughter Linda Brinkman-Souza; his siblings, Charlotte Hollis, Roger and Richard Brinkman; and his brother-in-law John Hollis.
He is survived by: his children, Debora Szpakowski (Brinkman), Ronald Brinkman and Timothy Brinkman (Jen); and his grandchildren, Cassie, Royce (Mandy), Brea (Dustin), Tyler S, Tyler B and Lindsay (Chris).
