With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Sorg of Michigan City, Indiana, born in Coeburn, Virginia, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Muncy Hilbert; her son Walden A. "Butch" Ratliff, Jr.; and her siblings, Annette Adkins, Gay Osborn (Charles), Fay "Ival" Fannon (Charles), Nellie "Nell Ruth" Bevins (Jay), Jimmy Adkins, Junior Adkins and Elmer Adkins (Ina Ruth).
She is survived by: her spouse Sylvan "Slim" Sorg; her daughter-in-law Gerri Ratliff of Michigan City, IN; her grandsons, James Ratliff (Sarah) of Fort Lupton and Matthew Ratliff of Fort Collins; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Ratliff, Triston Ratliff, Henry Clark and Travis Dodge. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
