With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. Niec of Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Schopp and Camilla Schopp (Kelley); her daughter Jeanne Schultz; and her sister Patricia Zwickl. She is survived by: her husband Henry Niec; her children, Connie Mohamed (Sam) of Michigan City, IN, Cindy Daher (Mike) of Aurora, CO, Jay Niec (Judy) of Michigan City, IN, Christopher Niec (Denise) of Carmel, IN, Chad Niec (Carol) of Palatine, IL, John Niec (Michele) of Antioch, TN, Joseph Niec (Debbie) of Westville, IN and James Niec of Chesterton, IN; and her brother-in-law George Zwickl of Indianapolis, IN.. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
