She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Buchanan and Lavona Buchanan (Vandermark); her husband George Mazac; and her sisters, Doris Buchanan and Sharon Ungerank.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kathy Petrean (John), Rodney and Roger Buchanan; and her pet Mary Louise. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Root Funeral Home (312 E 7th St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
