Lu Walker Cox Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Loomis and Ruth Vanneta Walker (Applegate); her husband Norman Russell Cox; her brothers, John, Van Walker and Stanley Russell; and her son-in-law Stanley Przybylinski.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cox of Michigan City, Kimberly Przybylinski of Michigan City, Jeffrey Cox (Catherine) of La Porte and Kevin Cox (Kay) of Buckeye, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Andrea Hoag (Brent), Corey Cox (Kelli), Samantha Pishkur (Alex), Dr. Morgan Henry (Brandon), Jacob Cox (Sydney), Adam Przybylinski (Melissa) and Rachel Shannon (Matthew).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel (418 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Lu requested (with her grateful thanks) that contributions be made to a favorite charity or educational institution of the donor's choice and/or Heart to Heart Hospice, 402 Wall St. #12, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383.
