He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Sr. Westphal and Hazel Westphal (Kilmer); his children, Theresa Byers, Louis Westphal III, Jeff Westphal (Teri) and Christina Papke (Patrick); his grandchildren, Ryan, Steven, Amy, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Kevin and Keagen; his great grandchildren, Addilyn, Ryker and Khallen; his sisters, Patricia "Pat" Wheeler and Janice Sears; his wife Sue Westphal; his siblings, Audrey Westphal-Gloy, Doris Byarley (Bob), Florence Westphal, Betty Ward (Oscar), Aleen Layman (Edward), George Westphal, Willard "Bill" Westphal, Mabel Youngblood (Pete), Joan Dean (Jimmy), Alfred Westphal (Norma) and Raymond Westphal (Shirley); and his children-in-law, Ed Byers and Roxanne Westphal.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Shriners Children Hospital.
