He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Heller and Viola Heller (Ahlgrim); his wife Betty Louise Ittel of Hobart; his son Mark; and his grandson Brian.
He is survived by: his sons, Louis and Philip; his grandchildren, Beth, Ryan and Remy; and his great grandchildren, Erik and Victoria.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home (613 Washington St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
