He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Blackie" Sausman and Dorothy Sausman (Carl); his wife Jeannine DeLy; and his siblings, James Terry, Helen, Ruth, Bill and Thomas.

He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Hoyle (Robert W.) of Michigan City; his sister Janyce Sausman of Florida; and his caregiver Dawn Moss. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, colleagues & friends.
