He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Picur and Leokadia Picur (Resiak); his brother Zbys Picur; his sister-in-law Danuta Kazmierczak; and his parents-in-law, Helen Resiak and Adam Kazmierczak.

He is survived by: his children, Monica Wilbur (Kyle) of Noblesville, Indiana, Robert Picur (Vicki Budak) of Michigan City, Indiana and Julian Picur of Michigan City, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hailey Wilbur, Haiden Wilbur and Pamela Picur; his siblings, Zbigniew Picur (Dana), Helena Barbara Grodzka of Poland and Teresa Zymanska (Antek) of Poland; his nieces and nephews, Kasia Sadowska, Malgosia Padiasek, Magdzia Zymanska, Tracy Kazmierczak, Kelly Kazmierczak, Meghann Grantham (Ryan), Anna Clancy (Sean), Pawel Zymanski, Krzysiu Picur, Kristopher Kazmierczak (Shelley), Kyle Kazmierczak (Betsy), Damian Marciniak (Kelli Witt), Aaron Resiak (Lauren) and Christian Resiak; his uncle Zenon Resiak (Michelle) of La Porte, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Kasia Marciniak (Janusz), George Kazmierczak (Lynn), Richard Kazmierczak (Willa) and Zbigniew "Ziggy" Resiak (Angie). He is also survived by three great-nieces along with 11 great-nephews.
