It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Defanski Jr. of Michigan City, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Defanski and Mary Defanski (Polak); and his brother John Defanski. He is survived by: his friends, David Spence (Michele) of Walkerton, Sarah Gould of La Porte, Leo Spence of Walkerton, Shirley Butiste of La Porte and Dr. Liz Rassel (Tony) of La Porte.
